Charles’ Cognac embodies the story of a Norman family who became Charentais out of courage. Settling in Éraville in 1960, Alexis and Carmen Leroux passed on their estate to their son Charles and his wife Monique in 1975. In the midst of a wine crisis, they revived the still and, in 1981, installed a 12 hl straight boiler, giving their eaux-de-vie a distinctive character.

This Cognac comes from a winegrower in the town of Pessines, in Charente-Maritime, a few kilometers from the town of Saintes. Symphonie des Terroirs N°1 is the result of a collaboration between producers of four crus from the Cognac region, Jean-Luc Pasquet having served as master blender for the project in the 1990s. Lot number L.31Y represents the average age of the eaux-de-vie. Limited edition, this cognac was only produced in 534 bottles.
