The history of Maxime Trijol began in 1859, when the Trijol family settled in Grande Champagne, a region renowned for producing the finest cognacs. Initially winemakers, the Trijol family quickly expanded their activities to become distillers, creating an independent house capable of overseeing the entire production process, from vineyard to glass.
The house has remained in the hands of the Trijol family, ensuring the continuity of a unique expertise. Located in Saint-Martial-sur-Né, in the heart of the Grande Champagne terroir, it benefits from chalky soils that are ideal for producing eaux-de-vie with great finesse and exceptional aging potential.
