Many people are familiar with the name Pommard, a Grand Vin de Bourgogne. The village lies four kilometers south of Beaune. The production area is quite large, with 300 hectares along a narrow valley that cuts into the land of the Côte. The wines of Pommard don't really resemble those of the neighboring villages. They are often richer and more concentrated than the wines of...
Bouchard Père & Fils Chambolle-Musigny 2017 is an elegant, fine and complex red wine that reflects the unique character of the Chambolle-Musigny appellation. It's a wine for pleasure, to be enjoyed with delicate dishes or carefully cellared for special occasions. It is appreciated for its balance, freshness, aromatic bouquet and silky texture.
A few steps from the Grands Crus, the premier cru en Ergot rivals in finesse and grace with their prestigious cousins. This is one of the oldest terroirs in the estate.
Domaine De Villaine Bouzeron 2022 comes from Aligoté vines located on the best slopes of the Appellation. Since settling in Bouzeron in 1973, the estate has selected the very old Bouzeron vines of so-called "golden" varieties which give smaller yields and finer aromatic wines.
A bright, clear peach color. Intense fragrance of yellow fruit with a tropical note. Fresh, mineral and supple taste. Slightly acidic finish. Organically grown grapes from Domaine Ott and partner winemakers. Vinification and blending on the estate.
Le Clos du Roy once belonged to the Kings of France. It was considered one of the best plots in the appellation. The Faiveley family acquired it in 1971. This wine could be compared to a village in the Côte de Nuits for the finesse of its tannins and its length in the mouth.
Light yellow color with lime reflections. Very round attack and intense bouquet mixing the fruits of the sun with a hint of pineapple with mineral notes of flint. The palate is marked by a long path ending on a seductive salinity.
Faiveley Clos Rochette is a neighboring parcel of La Framboisière. The soils are particularly compact, hard to plow, strewn with small rocks giving their name to this climate. This plot has been a Monopoly of the Domaine since 1933.
