A rosé à la Roederer: the concentration, fruitiness and dense substance of Pinot noir from Cumières are transcended by the elegance, purity and freshness of great Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs. There is this sensation of maturity and freshness that always characterizes Louis Roederer Rosés.
Nicolas Maillart Rosé Grand Cru is a very technical cuvée that begins in the vineyard with the selection of plots of old Pinot Noir from the best terroirs of Bouzy. The estate uses the "saignee" method, i.e. the Pinot Noir grapes will macerate for a few hours to obtain the rosé color. Then, the Chardonnay is blended with the Pinot Noir to give freshness to this Cuvée.
