Legras & Haas

Founded in 1991, the Legras & Haas house reflects a family passion for crafting exceptional champagnes. Located in Chouilly, one of the prestigious Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, this house specializes in Chardonnay-based champagnes, embodying purity, elegance, and freshness. Legras & Haas’s vision is rooted in the harmony of modernity and respect for Champagne traditions.

The story of Legras & Haas began with the union of François Legras, a winemaker from a family established in the region for generations, and his wife Brigitte Haas, originally from Alsace. Together, they decided to establish their own house in 1991, after years of experience and collaboration with other prestigious Champagne estates.

The family estate is located in Chouilly, renowned for its Grand Cru Chardonnays. From the outset, the house emphasized quality and the unique identity of its wines, vinifying grapes from different plots separately to showcase the richness and diversity of each terroir.
