Founded in 1812 in Tours-sur-Marne by André Michel Pierlot, the Laurent-Perrier house is one of the world’s leading champagne houses. The Laurent-Perrier house was founded in 1812, at a time when champagne was already cherished by European royal courts. Its name comes from the union of Laurent and Perrier, two individuals who played pivotal roles in the house’s history. In the early 20th century, Bernard de Nonancourt, the founder’s grandson, propelled the house into the ranks of major champagne brands by focusing on high-quality production and global distribution.
