Chita is the serenity of Japanese whisky, from the inventive grain whisky distillery in Chita Peninsula dedicated to the pursuit of making diverse grain whiskies.

With a phenol level of 10 ppm, this peated malt develops along a peat character that integrates beautifully with the abundantly fruity, herbal, and honeyed tones of its aromatic and flavor profile. Acting as a true guiding thread, this peat reveals oily, medicinal, saline, earthy, and even terpenic nuances.

At each stage of the tasting, Oban surprises with its character halfway between land and sea. It is a reflection of the terroir from which this malt comes: the Western Highlands.
