Extra Marriage celebrates the 40th anniversary of the iconic Nikka From the Barrel, first released in 1985 in its now-legendary square bottle. This anniversary edition enjoys a marrying period twice as long as that of the original release. It is the result of a refined blend of single malts from Yoichi Distillery and Miyagikyo Distillery, combined with grain whiskies made primarily from corn.
These grain whiskies were distilled in Coffey stills, imported from Scotland in 1963 to equip the Nishinomiya site before being relocated to Miyagikyo in 1999. Energetic yet elegant, this special anniversary edition stands out for its depth, harmony, and aromatic richness, beautifully expressing the distinctive character of each component whisky.
