Maison Jacques Selosse – The Avant-Garde of Terroir-Driven Champagne
A true Champagne icon, Maison Jacques Selosse stands at the pinnacle of excellence and audacity, redefining terroir-driven winemaking. Founded in 1959 in Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, the house underwent a radical transformation under Anselme Selosse, a pioneer of biodynamic farming and parcel-based vinification in Champagne. Today, his son Guillaume Selosse continues this legacy with the same dedication.
The estate spans 8 hectares, primarily in Grand Cru villages (Avize, Cramant, Oger), with a strong focus on Chardonnay, aiming to reveal the purest expression of terroir. In contrast to conventional Champagne methods, Jacques Selosse embraces techniques inspired by Burgundy: organic viticulture, fermentation in oak barrels, and extended aging on lees, resulting in wines of unparalleled depth and complexity.
Selosse champagnes are intensely expressive, boasting rich textures and a striking aromatic palette where minerality, ripe fruit, oxidative notes, and freshness harmonize. Iconic cuvées include Initial, an introduction to the Selosse universe, Substance, crafted through a solera system for extraordinary depth, and rare single-parcel expressions that pay tribute to exceptional terroirs.

Hommage A William Deutz La Cote Glaciere is a single-varietal (Pinot Noir) and single-terroir (La Cote Glaciere plot in Aÿ) cuvée. The Cellar Master of Maison Deutz decided to vinify this plot of Aÿ separately to highlight the nobility of the wine, the terroir and the Pinot Noir grape variety.
Cœur de Cuvée 2015 is a Champagne of unique richness and identity with a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir from old Premier Cru vines in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne. The Wines are made only from the heart of the Cuvée to extract the best.
Les Jodins: A living Champagne made exclusively from the fermentation of the estate's grapes. No additives or sulfites. A mass selection of Pinot Meunier, Brut Nature. Limited edition of 895 bottles.
Jm Sélèque Quintette is a 100% Chardonnay Champagne from 5 specific terroirs of the Domaine: Vertus 1er Cru (La Justice planted in 1950), Dizy 1er Cru (Moque-bouteille planted in 1985), Epernay (Les Frileux planted in 1959), Mardeuil (Les Basses Ronces planted in 1982) and Pierry 1er Cru (Les Tartières & Les Porgeons planted in 1990 and 1985)
Cuvée 748 from Maison Jacquesson is made from the 2020 harvest of the Ay, Dizy Hautvillers and Champillon terroirs (55%) and the Avize and Oiry terroirs (45%). A few reserve wines from the Domaine complete the blend.
Bulle de Rosé perfectly captures the delicate artistry of Frédéric Savart, one of the most respected grower-producers of the Montagne de Reims. Crafted in Premier Cru vineyards in Écueil from mainly Pinot Noir with a touch of Chardonnay, this cuvée stands out for its elegance, precision and luminous aromatic expression.

Les Rocheforts is a "parcellaire" Cuvée limited to 3500 bottles, produced by a talented Winemaker: Etienne Calsac. This is a Blanc de Blancs from a plot called Les Rocheforts located on the Bisseuil 1er Cru terroir. A champagne with a lot of complexity and minerality.
Piper-Heidsieck Essentiel Blanc de Noirs combines Pinot Noir, the House's historic grape variety, with Pinot Meunier in a delicate blend. The diversity of the terroirs from which the 10 selected "crus" come, allows the complexity of the black grape varieties to be sublimated in a fruity and elegant Champagne.
Egly-Ouriet Blanc de Noirs Vieilles Vignes is a Cuvée from a Pinot Noir vine, lieu-dit “Les Crayères”, planted in 1946 and 1947 on an exceptional terroir in the Ambonnay vineyard classified as a Grand Cru.
