Created in 1988 in homage to Elisabeth Salmon, co-founder of the House, this cuvée is distinguished by the brilliance and purity of a very great nobility with a unique character. This rare and refined great wine subtly offers the signature of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Grand Cru terroirs.
This blend of Chardonnays of different ages constitutes 75% of the final blend of FLEUR DE MIRAVAL, the remaining 25% being made up of young Pinot Noir which gives the wine its subtle pink color. Rare Vintage 2013 expresses the signature of the house, combining a tropical touch and minerality, in two stages. Under an initially reserved appearance, gourmet, pastry and spicy notes develop in a saline, noble and ample tension. The cuvée is made with 70% chardonnay and 30% pinot noir from 11 crus, including 7 classified Grand Crus and 3 classified Premier Crus.
Nicolas Maillart Rosé Grand Cru is a very technical cuvée that begins in the vineyard with the selection of plots of old Pinot Noir from the best terroirs of Bouzy. The estate uses the "saignee" method, i.e. the Pinot Noir grapes will macerate for a few hours to obtain the rosé color. Then, the Chardonnay is blended with the Pinot Noir to give freshness to this Cuvée.
Nicolas Maillart Platine is a Cuvée made mainly from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier from the Villers Allerand 1er Cru, Ecueil 1er Cru and Bouzey Grand Cru terroirs. The reserve wines (30 to 40%), aged in barrels, give this Cuvée its harmony and consistency.
Grand Cellier is a daring Champagne, all in elegance with a blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir from Premier Cru vines in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne. The wines spend 10 months aging in oak barrels to bring power and complexity.
Louis Roederer Vintage 2015 is the perfect offshoot of the Louis Roederer terroir where finesse, purity, precision and harmony highlight the virtues of a great vineyard. The texture is delicious, generous and crunchy.
