The maturity that the wine has acquired in the cellar has allowed it to pass the years while keeping its freshness. The blend is a selection of the best Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs and Pinots Noirs from Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne.
The name "Cuvée 72" comes from 36+36, or 72 months of maturation before shipment. Cuvée 748 from Maison Jacquesson is made from the 2020 harvest of the Ay, Dizy Hautvillers and Champillon terroirs (55%) and the Avize and Oiry terroirs (45%). A few reserve wines from the Domaine complete the blend.
