The Maison Normandin-Mercier is a renowned family-run house specializing in high-end Cognacs, combining tradition and excellence since its foundation in 1872. Located in Dompierre-sur-Mer, near La Rochelle, it benefits from the maritime influence that imparts a unique character to its eaux-de-vie.
Committed to an artisanal and terroir-driven approach, the house exclusively selects Cognacs from the prestigious Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne appellations, known for their finesse and exceptional aging potential. Normandin-Mercier Cognacs age slowly in humid cellars, developing complex aromas and a smooth texture.
Each cuvée is distinguished by its elegance and balance, offering notes of dried fruits, vanilla, white flowers, and delicate spices, with a remarkable length on the palate. Dedicated to traditional methods, the house favors extended aging in French oak barrels, allowing its Cognacs to reach unparalleled maturity and depth.
With its expertise passed down through generations, Maison Normandin-Mercier is now recognized for its exceptional Cognacs, sought after by enthusiasts and connoisseurs looking for authenticity and refinement.

This rare Cognac comes from the commune la Brousse, near Matha, from a small farm. The producer born in 1952 still owns cognacs distilled by his father and grandfather. This Cognac is the result of a blend of two batches, made on the advice of a big Cognac house. The Cognac was bottled in demijohns in 2000.
Paradis is a blend of the oldest eaux-de-vie (about 60 years old) from Maison Gourry de Chadeville, all from the Premier Cru: Grande Champagne.
