Normandin-Mercier Petite Champagne 2012 is a vintage-single cask cognac that was matured in French oak until 2022.

Jean Fillioux 14 years old is a limited edition of 2004 bottles only from the famous Grande Champagne terroir.

This vintage cognac comes from a small Cognac house founded in 1930, located in the commune of Sainte Sévère which is on the border of Fins Bois and Borderies, on a clay-siliceous soil, with flint. The year 1980 is engraved in the memories of Cognac for its very small harvest, and the extreme cold that accompanied the harvest.

This exceptional golden eau-de-vie has a delicate, appetizing nose, with fruity aromas of plum, apricot and spicy notes of vanilla and nutmeg. On the palate, its texture is fine and unctuous, offering subtle flavors of toast and oak, giving it a pleasantly persistent finish.

This Cognac comes from a property in Bonneuil, one of the best terroirs in Grande Champagne. The 3 barrels that Grosperrin bought in 2012 from this family come from the joint ownership of André Noblet, who had made 3 different blends with his own father's eaux-de-vie. This is one of them.
