Les Beaux Monts lies to the north-west of the village of Vosne-Romanée, on a steep slope (10% gradient) at the exit of the Combe Brûlée. The altitude of the plot varies from 277 to 289 meters. The plot faces east-south-east. The reddish-brown soil is characterized by a large quantity of light-colored limestone and chailles (silica nodules).

Deep bouquet with notes of black fruits combined with smoky and woody touches. On the palate, its rich and generous flesh is supported by a well-marked tannin structure. A wine that faithfully expresses the strong personality of its terroir. Very good aging potential.

Domaine De Villaine Rully 1er Cru Montpalais comes from a young vine already cultivated organically. Le Clos du Roy once belonged to the Kings of France. It was considered one of the best plots in the appellation. The Faiveley family acquired it in 1971. This wine could be compared to a village in the Côte de Nuits for the finesse of its tannins and its length in the mouth.

"La Favorite" is a parcel selection of Mercurey 1er Cru "Le Clos du Roy" from vines located on the south-east facing hillside.
