Joseph Drouhin showcases with this Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru 2022 the pure, refined expression of an exceptional Côte de Beaune terroir. Deep, well-drained clay-limestone soils give the Chardonnay crystalline minerality and remarkable freshness. The nose opens with ripe citrus, white flowers, honey and subtle toasted notes, reflecting the terroir’s character and vineyard exposure. The palate is broad and structured, combining tension, elegance and complexity, while the long, harmonious finish emphasizes the nobility and precision of this premier cru. A vibrant gastronomic wine, ideal with fine fish, shellfish or delicate poultry.
