Domaine De Villaine Rully 1er Cru Montpalais comes from a young vine already cultivated organically. Like all the Premier Crus of the Rully appellation, it is located in the heart of one of the best exposed slopes of the Appellation, in the south-east. This typicality of the terroir gives wines with a frank and fruity character, sometimes mineral but always possessing a fine and dense bouquet.
Domaine de Villaine was established in 1971 by Aubert and Pamela de Villaine, also co-directors of Romanée‑Conti . Located in Bouzeron, Côte Chalonnaise, it became a benchmark for golden Aligoté, earning its own Bouzeron AOC in 1998 . The estate cultivates multiple grape varieties (Aligoté, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir), choosing sites by soil: Aligoté on limestone slopes, Chardonnay on clay . Winemaking emphasizes large oak vats with lees aging and minimal intervention . The result: terroir-driven wines that are vibrant, fresh and salivating, beautifully expressing the water and minerality of their ancient marine soils .
A few steps from the Grands Crus, the premier cru Clos Prieur rivals in finesse and grace with their prestigious cousins. This is one of the oldest terroirs in the estate with only 40 acres.
Deep bouquet with notes of black fruits combined with smoky and woody touches. On the palate, its rich and generous flesh is supported by a well-marked tannin structure. A wine that faithfully expresses the strong personality of its terroir. Very good aging potential.
"La Favorite" is a parcel selection of Mercurey 1er Cru "Le Clos du Roy" from vines located on the south-east facing hillside.

The Domaine de Dérée et Champérier, acquired on October 23, 1859, is ideally situated in the heart of the Brochon hillside. After 160 years of uninterrupted operation, Pierre and Louis, the sixth...
The origin of the name of the appellation remains uncertain. This could possibly be an ancient form of pear trees. Located to the south of the village, the climate of "Porêts" can be compared to that of "Saint-Georges" in a slightly more rustic style. As early as 1855, this place was considered one of the best in Nuits by Doctor Lavalle. This vineyard is of great importance...
