Blessed with a warm and humid climate, Thailand offers ideal conditions for cultivating sugarcane — a tradition that dates back to the 14th century. Although the country’s first sugar refinery was only established in 1937, Thailand has since become the world’s second-largest exporter of cane sugar.
Distilled in a column still, this rum spent four years aging under a tropical climate before continuing its maturation in a continental climate, allowing it to develop remarkable depth and character.
