Richard Hennessy, a former Irish officer in the service of Louis XV, founded the House of Hennessy in Cognac, Charente, in 1765. In September 2024, Maison Hennessy celebrates its origins by creating a limited edition for Hennessy VS, designed by a duo of Irish street artists, for the 300th birthday of the founder, Richard Hennessy.
