Plantation Rum Black Cask is the result of blending two exceptional rums that have been aged using a unique double aging process, which adds complexity, refinement and subtle smoky notes. After distillation in Barbados and Venezuela, the rums are aged for several years in their respective countries in 200 liter white oak barrels. They then head to the South-West of France, where they undergo a second aging in small, heavily toasted oak barrels, which gives them delicate smoky notes.
