Les Beaux Monts lies to the north-west of the village of Vosne-Romanée, on a steep slope (10% gradient) at the exit of the Combe Brûlée. The altitude of the plot varies from 277 to 289 meters. The plot faces east-south-east. The reddish-brown soil is characterized by a large quantity of light-colored limestone and chailles (silica nodules).

On their rock terrace, the Musigny and the Petits Musigny overlook the Clos de Vougeot, facing the rising sun. There was a Gallo-Roman settlement there whose owner was called Musinus, he gave his name to what would become one of the most prestigious terroirs in Burgundy. Moussé Fils L’Or d’Eugène Rosé is a blended Rosé made from two perpetual reserves (solera) since 2003: one of white wines (Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir), and the other of red wines. The latter comes from the same plot of Meunier, and aged for 24 months in barrels over 8 years old.

This Cuvée is made from a perpetual reserve (solera) with wines dating from 2003 to 2020 and refreshed each year with 50% of the new harvest. This « Longue Garde » version of the Cuvée Eugène demonstrates the Meunier's ability to age while retaining all its freshness and tension with aging « sur lattes » for 60 months compared to 18 months for the Cuvée Eugène.
