The Château Valandraud, located in Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation, is one of the region’s most iconic estates. Founded in 1989 by Jean-Luc Thunévin and Murielle Andraud, this château quickly became a benchmark due to its innovative approach and the exceptional quality of its wines.

The estate, which spans 7 hectares, benefits from an exceptional terroir, with clay-limestone soils and an ideal climate for Bordeaux’s grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Château Valandraud stands out for its meticulous winemaking process, including hand harvesting, a rigorous selection of grapes, and strict fermentation control.

Château Valandraud wines are renowned for their richness, aromatic complexity, and exceptional aging potential. The flagship cuvée, Château Valandraud, embodies the elegance and power of the Saint-Émilion terroir, with aromas of black fruits, licorice, and subtle woody notes.
