Leclerc Briant Les Carelles 2018 is a 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs from a single Grand Cru vineyard in Mesnil-sur-Oger, on the Côte des Blancs.

This vintage stands out for its marked minerality (pure chalk soil terroir) and fresh, refined profile — with a very low dosage (~ 0.6 g/L, Extra Brut) for pure, direct expression.

This champagne combines strong hazelnut tones in accordance with its age with a young acidity and a fresh attack. It has everything, until the caramel which stands out on the fruity and nutty aromas. This caramel taste lingers throughout until the exceptionally lingering finish.

Wine marked by candied notes revealing a character of candied mirabelle plum on the nose and a lot of power on the palate marked by an animal and vanilla character ending on a dominant of roasted and grilled coffee, slightly spicy.

Nicolas Maillart Rosé Grand Cru is a very technical cuvée that begins in the vineyard with the selection of plots of old Pinot Noir from the best terroirs of Bouzy. The estate uses the "saignee" method, i.e. the Pinot Noir grapes will macerate for a few hours to obtain the rosé color. Then, the Chardonnay is blended with the Pinot Noir to give freshness to this Cuvée.
