The Audry house is a prestigious cognac house, renowned for the exceptional quality of its cognacs and its respect for artisanal traditions. Founded in 1878 by Auguste Edmond Audry, a cognac enthusiast who began by buying and aging eaux-de-vie for his own use before commercializing them. The house experienced a period of dormancy in the mid-20th century before being revived in the 1970s by his descendants, who decided to reconnect with the family tradition. The Audry house is distinguished by its commitment to quality and authenticity. It favors traditional and artisanal methods of cognac production. Maison Audry emphasizes the prolonged aging of its eaux-de-vie, allowing for the development of complex and refined aromas.
