The assembly is carried out with great know-how. The cellar manager selects wines from 3 remarkable years based on their expression, and complements them with a proportion of Chardonnay from a decades-old solera, to achieve perfect harmony.

Founded in 1947 by a group of visionary winegrowers, Palmer & Co is based in Reims and has quietly established itself as one of Champagne’s most respected houses. Sourcing primarily from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards of the Montagne de Reims, it produces cuvées renowned for their precision and elegance.

The Cuvée Sainte Anne owes its name to the Holy Protector of the Village of Merfy where the Maison Chartogne-Taillet is based. This Champagne is the association of all the plots of Maison Chartogne-Taillet on the Merfy terroir and the three main Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
The name "Cuvée 72" comes from 36+36, or 72 months of maturation before shipment. Palmer Collection Vintage 1985 is a very rare vintage, memory of a harvest wiped out by the terrible frosts of winter 1984 and spring 1985 but which will give at the end of a beautiful sunny summer a superb vintage with remarkable balance.
The acidity of this great champagne has barely calmed down: under great freshness, it reveals delicately reduced notes of toast and mocha, then the wine opens up and evolves towards aromas of white truffle.
