The Maison R. Pouillon is a family-run champagne house, renowned for its deep-rooted winemaking traditions and commitment to sustainable viticulture. Founded in 1947 by Roger Pouillon, it is now led by Fabrice Pouillon, who continues the family legacy by combining respect for the terroir with innovative techniques.
Located in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, in the heart of Champagne, the estate practices biodynamic viticulture, embracing a natural approach to showcase the pure expression of its terroir. R. Pouillon champagnes are distinguished by their elegance, precision, and balance, offering both freshness and aromatic complexity.
The range features unique cuvées primarily crafted from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, with a significant portion vinified in oak barrels to enhance richness and depth. Each champagne reflects the distinct identity of its terroir, characterized by fine bubbles, vibrant minerality, and a refined structure.
Thanks to this artisanal and meticulous approach, Maison R. Pouillon captivates lovers of authentic and expressive champagnes, delivering a sensory experience that is both vibrant and elegant.
This cuvée comes only from the village of Villers Allerand, precisely from the hamlet of the village of Montchenot which has the particularity of being the junction village between the small mountain and the big mountain, and shares the geology of the two regions (sand, clay and chalk).
Egly-Ouriet Les Vignes de Vrigny is a Champagne produced only from Pinot Meunier on the terroir of Vrigny 1er Cru. This is an atypical cuvée reflecting the know-how of the Maison and offering brioche notes on a fine and creamy effervescence.
Nicolas Maillart Rosé Grand Cru is a very technical cuvée that begins in the vineyard with the selection of plots of old Pinot Noir from the best terroirs of Bouzy. The estate uses the "saignee" method, i.e. the Pinot Noir grapes will macerate for a few hours to obtain the rosé color. Then, the Chardonnay is blended with the Pinot Noir to give freshness to this Cuvée.
Cristal Rosé Vinothèque 2002 celebrates the remarkable journey of a few bottles which were stored for 20 years in the cellars of Louis Roederer, in search of the perfect balance. The blend was aged for 11 years on "lattes", followed by 5 years on "pointes", and rested for 4 years after disgorging.
Bollinger R.D. means Recently Disgorged because this cuvée is marketed a few months after its disgorgement and this despite years of aging. It is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from 14 terroirs, including 91% Grands Crus and 9% Premiers Crus.
Jean-Luc Pasquet Folle Blanche L.XIII is a unique Cognac because it is both organic, produced from an extremely rare grape variety: Folle Blanche and from the most famous terroir: Grande Champagne. An exceptional tasting experience!
A few steps from the Grands Crus, the premier cru Les Corbeaux rivals in finesse and grace with their prestigious cousins. This is one of the oldest terroirs in the estate.
The Balvenie 21 Years PortWood has benefited from a double maturation: first 21 years minimum in traditional oak barrels then 3-4 months of finishing in Port barrels of at least 40 years old. This Single Malt is the greatest pride of cellar master David Stewart. This is the Balvenie which has won the most awards. This second maturation in Port barrels and its reduction to...
L'Exemplaire N°5 is a blend of cognacs distilled on lees in the early 1980s from the 2 founders family properties. It is a beautiful cognac whose singularity is typical of "Grande Champagne" and its limestone terroirs : powerful and fruity! After a long ageing period (35 to 40 years) during which the aromas have slowly concentrated, there is a beautiful complexity where the...
Maxime Trijol Grande Champagne 1984 is a Cognac with a golden, orange color. Powerful, with fruity aromas of citrus fruits, plum jam and apricot underpinned by discreet oak and a delicate rancio. An eau-de-vie all in balance and harmony.
