Ingenuity, innovation and an intrepid quest for flavor led the WhistlePig distillery to discover an old stock of Rye Whiskey in the Grand Nord Blanc. It was saved from an unfortunate fate, aging it again in virgin American oak, before bottling it by hand, in all its glory.

Set in the rural landscapes of Shoreham, Vermont, WhistlePig stands for a bold ambition: to bring rye whiskey back to the heart of American craft spirits. Founded in 2007 by Raj Peter Bhakta, this 500-acre farm distillery embodies the “grain-to-glass” philosophy, where all core components — grain, water, and wood — originate from the estate itself.
The distillery officially launched in 2015, following the restoration of a century-old dairy barn, now serving as the hub where rye is grown, distilled, aged, and bottled on site, with barrels produced from Vermont oak harvested on the farm.
