The Kavalan distillery has its own cooperage, which allows it to fully control the crucial stage of aging. On the wise advice of Jim Swan, aging in STR (shaved-toasted-recharred) barrels plays an important role, allowing its single malt to reach full maturity more quickly. This version echoes Brandy Cask # A090620014 from the Créations Cellar Book catalog, sharing with it a spiritual character and a generous fruity note. More complex, it takes us into delicately woody and divinely sweet worlds, awakening in us deeply anchored olfactory and taste memories.
