The Nikka Tailored is a premium blend from the famous Japanese distillery, Nikka. It represents the brand's expertise, culture and know-how. This whisky is meticulously crafted from a precise blend of malted barley from Nikka's two distilleries, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, as well as grain whisky from Coffey stills. The end product is a harmonious balance of softness and roundness.
This single malt whisky from the Isle of Jura is matured for ten years in bourbon casks, before undergoing further refinement in carefully selected aged oloroso sherry casks. Jura 12 years old skillfully combines delicate smoky notes with the sweetness of sherry.
Six cask finishes – small batch Bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks, Madeira casks, Marsala casks, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques – are exquisitely married, to craft a one-of-a-kind whisky with a rich and enticing flavour profile.
This is the first time that Maison Ardbeg has used rare Port barrels to age its malt, before combining them with Bourbon barrels. The result is “Spectacular”: a smoky whisky with a perfect balance between sweetness and smoky peat, offering a variety of exclusive notes and aromas.

The barley comes from 7 local farms on the island of Islay (Concerto, Propino, Publican & Oxbridge varieties), peated at 40 ppm, cask strength at 54.5°. This Single Malt was aged in bourbon barrels for 4 years then in Pomerol barrels for 5 years.
