Tale of Tokyo was born from Dr. Bill Lumdsen's obsession with Japanese culture, fashion and food. Being a city full of contradictions but also multidimensional, Dr Bill Lumdsen was inspired by Tokyo to make a “unique and enigmatic” whisky. After ten years of searching, Dr. Bill finally managed to obtain barrels of one of Japan's most sought-after trees: the Mizunara oak. Aged in Bourbon barrels then in Sherry barrels and finally in Mizunara barrels, Tale of Tokyo is antinomic and surprising.
