In 1984, Blanton's was the first single barrel bourbon to restore American whiskey to its former glory, and later released a Gold version at 103 proof (51.5% alc). Blanton's features a higher percentage of rye in its recipe, making it drier and spicier (cinnamon and nutmeg). It offers notes of dark fruit, pecan, oak and a touch of sweetness with honey and vanilla.
In 2023, with the installation of four additional fermentation vats, also made of Oregon pine, the Lochranza distillery's production capacity increased from 600,000 to 800,000 liters of pure alcohol per year. Braastad XO Fine Champagne is a blend of the best Grande and Petite Champagne Cognacs of the House. The Fine Champagne denomination is obtained with a minimum of 50% coming from Grande Champagne and the rest from Petite Champagne.
Caol Ila Moch is a fresher and lighter expression of Caol Ila peat which brings sweetness and a delicate smoke.
Gosset Grande Réserve is the reflection of the know-how of the House, a selection of the best terroirs: Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Villers-Marmery… Vinification and traditional aging on lees to avoid any premature oxidation. No malolactic fermentation to ensure remarkable aging and preserve the fruity aromas of the wines.
Mortlach 12 Year Old is a vibrant and bold single malt. Aged in Bourbon and Sherry barrels, unpeated, it is distinguished by its incredible intensity, but also by its airy, light and lively character.
