In 2023, with the installation of four additional fermentation vats, also made of Oregon pine, the Lochranza distillery's production capacity increased from 600,000 to 800,000 liters of pure alcohol per year. Following on from the superb 27-year-old Arran sherry cask in the Créations 2024 catalog, New Vibrations, here is another trip back in time with this venerable bourbon barrel-aged version. Pared down, its aromatic and taste palette is a succession of fruity, floral and herbaceous sequences whose complexity and freshness are matched only by their perfect maturity of expression.
The Arran House, or more precisely the Arran Distillery, is a famous whisky distillery located on the Isle of Arran in Scotland. The Arran Distillery was founded in 1995, at a time when there had been no active distillery on the Isle of Arran for over 150 years. It takes pride in using natural and local ingredients as much as possible. The purity of the water used in production, sourced from the Easan Biorach, is a key element of the whisky's quality. Arran whiskies are produced using traditional distillation methods, with copper stills and prolonged fermentation to develop complex aromas. Maturation mainly takes place in oak casks that previously held bourbon or sherry, creating rich and varied flavor profiles.
This is the first time that Maison Ardbeg has used rare Port barrels to age its malt, before combining them with Bourbon barrels. The result is “Spectacular”: a smoky whisky with a perfect balance between sweetness and smoky peat, offering a variety of exclusive notes and aromas.

Clynelish 10 Year Old “The Jazz Crescendo” Special Release 2023 is a charming single malt with attractive and vibrant aromas. Matured exclusively in American oak barrels, first-fill bourbon. These barrels allow notes of caramel and vanilla spices to be revealed, while retaining the excellent character of the distillery.
In 1984, Blanton's was the first single barrel bourbon to restore American whiskey to its former glory, and later released a Gold version at 103 proof (51.5% alc). Blanton's features a higher percentage of rye in its recipe, making it drier and spicier (cinnamon and nutmeg). It offers notes of dark fruit, pecan, oak and a touch of sweetness with honey and vanilla.
