Following on from the superb 27-year-old Arran sherry cask in the Créations 2024 catalog, New Vibrations, here is another trip back in time with this venerable bourbon barrel-aged version. The Arran House, or more precisely the Arran Distillery, is a famous whisky distillery located on the Isle of Arran in Scotland. The Arran Distillery was founded in 1995, at a time when there had been no active distillery on the Isle of Arran for over 150 years. It takes pride in using natural and local ingredients as much as possible. The purity of the water used in production, sourced from the Easan Biorach, is a key element of the whisky's quality. Arran whiskies are produced using traditional distillation methods, with copper stills and prolonged fermentation to develop complex aromas. Maturation mainly takes place in oak casks that previously held bourbon or sherry, creating rich and varied flavor profiles.
