The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old, a perfectly balanced single malt whisky matured for 18 years in both American and European sherry seasoned oak casks. Port Charlotte 2013 PMC: 01 is the 6th limited edition from the Cask Exploration Series. The barley comes from 7 local farms on the island of Islay (Concerto, Propino, Publican & Oxbridge varieties), peated at 40 ppm, cask strength at 54.5°. This Single Malt was aged in bourbon barrels for 4 years then in Pomerol barrels for 5 years.
