On March 11, 2006 at 3:30 p.m., the first new make was poured from the stills of the Kavalan distillery. In 2016, numerous guests and journalists were invited by its founder, Tien-Tsaï Lee, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the distillery, which is now one of the top ten in the world.
