Zacapa XO Centenario is a unique rum made from first-press sugarcane juice of incomparable sweetness unlike most rums which are made from molasses. Lorena Vasquez, Cellar Master, carefully selects rums, in order to obtain a perfect balance between sweetness and aromas of spices and fruit. Zacapa XO uses the “solera” system of other Zacapa references, which has the particularity of finishing its aging in oak barrels that have previously been used to age premium cognac.

Nestled in the heart of Guatemala, the Ron Zacapa Distillery stands as one of Latin America’s most renowned rum producers. Founded in 1976 in the fertile region of Zacapa, it has elevated the craft of rum-making to an art form, guided by patience, nature, and uncompromising craftsmanship.
Unlike most rums made from molasses, Zacapa uses virgin sugar cane honey, sourced from volcanic soils along the Pacific coast. The liquid is carefully distilled, then transported to 2,300 meters above sea level to the legendary “House Above the Clouds.”
There, in the cool mountain climate, the rums mature through the traditional Solera system, blending spirits aged in casks that once held American whiskies, sweet wines, and sherries. This process imbues each Zacapa creation with remarkable depth and harmony, balancing richness, smoothness, and aromatic complexity.

Eminente Gran Reserva N°2 is a blend of aguardientes – the most complex and aromatic Cuban molasses eaux-de-vie – and light rum. Aged for a minimum of 10 years, it undergoes a four-month finish in Sauternes casks, adding depth and complexity while bringing balance on the palate, with notes of honey, candied fruits, and delicate spices.
Kirk & Sweeney Reserva is a molasses rum made from traditionally made sugar cane. It is aged in American oak barrels in the Dominican Republic, giving it a beautiful mahogany color and complex flavors of cane sugar, dried fruit, vanilla and toasted oak.
