Founded in 1829 by Hennequin de Villermont, Paul Renaudin, and Jacques Bollinger, the house of Bollinger is one of the most prestigious Champagne producers. Located in Aÿ, in the heart of the Champagne region, Bollinger is synonymous with quality, tradition, and excellence. Bollinger is one of the few Champagne houses that owns its own vineyards, covering more than 170 hectares, primarily classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru. The house favors the use of Pinot Noir, which constitutes over 60% of its vineyards, to impart power and character to its cuvées.
Jm Sélèque Soliste Pinot Noir is a 100% Pinot Noir Champagne from the Les Gayères plot, planted in 1975 on the Pierry 1er Cru terroir. Production limited to 2100 bottles only.
Cuvée 748 from Maison Jacquesson is made from the 2020 harvest of the Ay, Dizy Hautvillers and Champillon terroirs (55%) and the Avize and Oiry terroirs (45%). A few reserve wines from the Domaine complete the blend.
