A true Champagne icon, Maison Jacques Selosse stands at the pinnacle of excellence and audacity, redefining terroir-driven winemaking. Founded in 1959 in Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, the house underwent a radical transformation under Anselme Selosse, a pioneer of biodynamic farming and parcel-based vinification in Champagne. The estate spans 8 hectares, primarily in Grand Cru villages (Avize, Cramant, Oger), with a strong focus on Chardonnay, aiming to reveal the purest expression of terroir. In contrast to conventional Champagne methods, Jacques Selosse embraces techniques inspired by Burgundy: organic viticulture, fermentation in oak barrels, and extended aging on lees, resulting in wines of unparalleled depth and complexity.
