Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask is a high quality Single Malt, made using a double aging method which gives it a unique and complex taste. It is first aged in American oak barrels that previously contained bourbon, then in European oak barrels that previously contained sherry. This aging process gives it sweet and fruity notes, with flavors of vanilla, honey and dried fruit, as well as a subtle hint of wood and spice.
