Mortlach “The Katana’s Edge” Special Release 2023 is a single malt with stunning impact. Knockando Master Reserve 21 years old is a single malt with a triple maturation: first and second in Bourbon barrels and third in Sherry barrels. This particularity gives it a surprisingly soft depth and woody structure.
The Flora & Fauna range was introduced in 1991 and highlights Diageo's most confidential Scotch whiskey distilleries. Teaninich was founded in 1817, it is located next to the famous Glenmorangie & Dalmore distilleries but its production is mainly used for blends.
In 1984, Blanton's was the first single barrel bourbon to restore American whiskey to its former glory, and later released a Gold version at 103 proof (51.5% alc). Blanton's features a higher percentage of rye in its recipe, making it drier and spicier (cinnamon and nutmeg). It offers notes of dark fruit, pecan, oak and a touch of sweetness with honey and vanilla.
