Balanced and refined, the 1997 Vintage captures the pure expression of the Grande Champagne terroir, the most prestigious cru in Cognac. Its character was shaped by a year of contrasting weather patterns: following an early and rapid flowering, a cool and rainy June and July gave way to a sunnier August, promoting harmonious grape maturation. The harvest proved both abundant and of excellent quality, producing eaux-de-vie combining freshness and complexity.
Distilled on the lees and aged primarily in a humid cellar, this vintage reveals remarkable aromatic richness, great finesse, and impressive length on the palate. An authentic and noble expression of its origin, crafted for connoisseurs seeking depth and elegance.
