An ultra-premium release from the Orkney distillery, Highland Park 30 Year Old – 2019 Release is a rare single malt, matured for thirty years in European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks. This extended ageing imparts exceptional depth, complexity and elegance.

The nose reveals intense aromas of candied fruits, dried figs, heather honey, dark chocolate and gentle spices, enhanced by a subtle hint of smoky peat. On the palate, it is full-bodied, velvety and perfectly balanced, unveiling notes of caramel, nuts, dried fruits and fine oak, supported by elegantly integrated peat. The finish is long and majestic, extending the aromatic richness with remarkable finesse.

Highland Park – The True Spirit of Orkney

Perched in Kirkwall on the remote Orkney Islands off the northern coast of Scotland, Highland Park represents one of the most authentic expressions of Scottish single malt whisky. Established in 1798, it stands as one of Scotland’s oldest continually operating distilleries.  

What sets Highland Park apart is its distinct artisanal tradition. The distillery still floor-malts a portion of its barley on site, using locally sourced peat rich in heather, which gives its whiskies a signature soft, floral smoke that sets it apart from the heavier peated styles found elsewhere.


The Highland Park style is defined by a harmonious balance of elements:

Heather peat smoke — gentle, aromatic, and characterful without overwhelming the spirit.

Honeyed sweetness and malt richness, often with subtle maritime influences from the islands’ winds and sea air.

Sherry cask maturation — most expressions are aged in European or American oak sherry casks, adding complexity with notes of dried fruits, spice, and rich oak.
