In the vast concrete warehouses of the Kavalan distillery, the barrels are organized on different levels according to their size in order to obtain the best maturation conditions. Knockando Master Reserve 21 years old is a single malt with a triple maturation: first and second in Bourbon barrels and third in Sherry barrels. This particularity gives it a surprisingly soft depth and woody structure.

At each stage of the tasting, Oban surprises with its character halfway between land and sea. It is a reflection of the terroir from which this malt comes: the Western Highlands. To accentuate the flavors of iodine and sea air during Oban's second maturation, its master distiller chose Fino Montilla casks, which enhance the elegance of the malt with delicate, woody notes.

Indigene is a Single Malt (100% Malted Barley) elaborated from a complex blend of eaux-de-vie from the 2012 to 2019 vintages.
