The production of white wines at Château de Beaucastel is very limited, since only 7 hectares are devoted to it. The main grape variety in the production of this exceptional wine is Roussanne, which represents 80%.

An exceptional cognac for an exceptional man, Louis Vallet (4th generation), who launched bottle sales at Château Montifaud. The L50 is a rare blend of very old cognacs and constitutes one of the most prestigious qualities of cognac from the House. The first cognac distilled by Louis Vallet was selected to be part of this blend.

This cognac comes from an auction carried out in January 2019 for the benefit of Médecins du Monde and Action contre la Faim. These cognacs had been donated to these two associations by André Bertandeau, winemaker in Salignac-Sur-Charente, who died in December 2016.
