This extremely rare cognac comes from a family of winegrowers based in Angeac-Champagne. It comes from a very old stock, distinct from the stock of the property, the lots of which are rarely put up for sale, and always in a confidential manner. It aged for many years in a small clay cellar, before moving to the Grosperrin cellars in Saintes.
This Cognac comes from a property in Bonneuil, one of the best terroirs in Grande Champagne. The 3 barrels that Grosperrin bought in 2012 from this family come from the joint ownership of André Noblet, who had made 3 different blends with his own father's eaux-de-vie. This is one of them.

François Peyrot XO was produced and distilled at the family estate of Les Bergeronnettes, it is a Grande Champagne 1er cru cognac. It has aged for many years in French oak barrels in the "Paradis" cellars.
