Exceptional Cognac bearing the Fine Champagne appellation. It is made exclusively from “Grande Fine Champagne”, the premier cru of Cognac. Noble cognac with a golden yellow robe. On the nose, delicate aromas of oak and vanilla, then violet and rose. In the mouth a lot of structure and good persistence.
Normandin-Mercier Petite Champagne 1976 is a very rare cognac, resulting from a memorable year due to its precocious drought, but endowed with an aromatic concentration and infinite richness.
This cognac comes from an auction carried out in January 2019 for the benefit of Médecins du Monde and Action contre la Faim. These cognacs had been donated to these two associations by André Bertandeau, winemaker in Salignac-Sur-Charente, who died in December 2016.
