This vintage cognac comes from a small Cognac house founded in 1930, located in the commune of Sainte Sévère which is on the border of Fins Bois and Borderies, on a clay-siliceous soil, with flint. The year 1980 is engraved in the memories of Cognac for its very small harvest, and the extreme cold that accompanied the harvest.
Bord de Mer is the first Cognac from Maison Jean-Luc Pasquet from the Borderies terroir. It is a blend with an average age of 30 years (L.30Y) with the characteristic freshness of Borderies.
