2002 marked a turning point in European history as the single currency was adopted and as the British Monarchy lost the Queen Mother (Elizabeth). In Cognac, Bache Gabrielsen Cellar Master selected two lots of the 2002 vintage from two distinct areas of Grande Champagne, which expressed great complementarity when blended together.
The House of Bache-Gabrielsen is a renowned cognac distillery located in the Cognac region of France. Founded in 1905, it is known for producing high-quality cognacs that blend tradition with innovation. The house was established in 1905 by Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, a Norwegian who moved to Cognac to start a cognac production business. His vision was to create refined cognacs that respected traditional methods while incorporating a touch of innovation. Since its inception, the house has been managed by several generations of the Bache-Gabrielsen family, who have preserved the legacy and reputation of the house while making improvements and evolutions over time. Bache-Gabrielsen cognacs are crafted primarily from grapes sourced from the Grand Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Borderies crus, offering remarkable complexity and depth. Distillation is carried out in traditional Charentais stills, and the eaux-de-vie are aged in oak casks, allowing for the development of rich and nuanced flavors. The house also employs innovative aging techniques and carefully crafted blends to offer cognacs with varied and sophisticated flavor profiles.
Frapin Millésime 1990 was distilled on lees and then aged for 30 years in sealed casks in the cellars of Domaine Frapin to guarantee the authenticity of the vintage. This long aging brings great aromatic complexity and an elegance specific to Frapin Cognacs.
Hennessy X.O. is releasing a special bottle to honor Hong Kong. The bottle's design, like the cognac, is strong and elegant. It features drawings of famous buildings and landmarks near Victoria Harbour. A special leather tag, like those on suitcases, is included to remind you of a wonderful trip.
This Borderies 1975 comes from the village of Richemont, from old vines planted in the 1940s. This cognac was distilled in a 20-hl still and aged in a temperate cellar without any additions during aging. Bottled in February 2025 in a limited edition of only 168 bottles.
Audry Memorial is a blend of Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie, more commonly known as Fine Champagne. The youngest Cognacs in the blend are 30 years old and the oldest 60 years old.

It was in 1985 that Jean‐Louis Brillet created the Belle de Brillet, the name of which pays homage to his “Belle”, his wife Isabelle. Belle de Brillet is a unique liqueur combining Pear and Cognac with its distinctive pear-shaped bottle. Very quickly it will establish itself as the flagship of Maison Brillet.
Old gold color, almost amber. The nose is marked by gourmet notes of ripe plums, plums, spices (cardamom, turmeric, black pepper) and exotic woods (warm cedar, sandalwood). Around all this, we find the characteristic rancio of old Cognacs close to maturity. On the palate, again this fruity (ripe plum, prune, chocolate with cinnamon) and spicy (nutmeg, tobacco) delicacy.
Maison Prunier offers these old vintage Cognacs "brut de fûts", produced in just a few hundred bottles per vintage. This edition comes from the 1996 harvest from the Fins Bois terroir and bottled with its natural alcohol degree. Supplied in a wooden box.
The year 2001 marked the beginning of the new millennium by starting on a Monday, as the beginning of a new era. In the vineyards, this new millennium has delivered an excellent first vintage. The winter was cold and rainy and the summer scorching with cold temperatures at night. These climatological conditions allowed optimal ripening of the grapes, which developed rich...
In 1973, the Watergate scandal was in full swing in the United States, the first oil crisis hit the world and the heatwave raged in the cognac vineyards in mid-August. Imperturbable, this vintage will have kept all of its promises after spending 37 years in casks. In 2011, Bache Gabrielsen cellar master decided to transfer it to one of the demi-johns living in the...
