The history of Maxime Trijol began in 1859, when the Trijol family settled in Grande Champagne, a region renowned for producing the finest cognacs. Initially winemakers, the Trijol family quickly expanded their activities to become distillers, creating an independent house capable of overseeing the entire production process, from vineyard to glass.
The house has remained in the hands of the Trijol family, ensuring the continuity of a unique expertise. Located in Saint-Martial-sur-Né, in the heart of the Grande Champagne terroir, it benefits from chalky soils that are ideal for producing eaux-de-vie with great finesse and exceptional aging potential.
This vintage cognac defied and exceeded expectations from the outset of a remarkable journey. Escaping the wrath of a severe frost that destroyed more than two thirds of the 1991 harvest, the cask evolved in two stages spending its youth in a dry cellar in the small commune of Verrières before being transferred to our vintage cellar in Jarnac. Annick L.92 Cognac, produced and distilled by Annick TRIBOT in Criteuil-la-Magdeleine, a town located in the exceptional “Grande Champagne” cru, benefits from the aromatic complexity attached to this unique terroir. 140 bottles produced from a single barrel with a natural strength of 45,9%.
Old gold color, almost amber. The nose is marked by gourmet notes of ripe plums, plums, spices (cardamom, turmeric, black pepper) and exotic woods (warm cedar, sandalwood). Around all this, we find the characteristic rancio of old Cognacs close to maturity. On the palate, again this fruity (ripe plum, prune, chocolate with cinnamon) and spicy (nutmeg, tobacco) delicacy.
Elegance and spices – Stewed fruits, roasted notes (chocolate) and spices as white pepper. Sweet and brilliant finale. Colour: bright gold.
Audry Exception is a blend of Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie, more commonly known as Fine Champagne. The youngest Cognacs in the blend are 40 years old and the oldest 60 years old.

This very old and rare unblended cognac comes from a single cask and represents the epitome of what can be achieved with the finest eau-de-vie, aged to maximum maturity across several generations of Delamain stewardship. This cognac has been considered so exceptional and so perfect that it has been bottled at cask strength, without any blending or reduction.
Ancestrale is a blend of eaux-de-vie distilled by André and Abel, Pierre's father and grandfather. An exceptional cognac of rare aromatic complexity where wood and "rancio" blend together with excellence. Numbered bottles limited to 300 copies / year.
Braastad Extra is an ultra-confidential Cognac produced by the Cellar Master Richard Braastad. This unique blend took 10 years to emerge in order to find the perfect complementarity of the House's oldest eaux-de-vie. The average age of this nectar is 60 years.
