Maison François Voyer XO 1er Cru is a complex blend of Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie that have aged 10 to 25 years in oak barrels. It is a delicate Cognac with great length on the palate.
The François Voyer house, located in the heart of Grande Champagne, the 1st cru of Cognac, is renowned for its exceptional cognacs. The history of François Voyer dates back more than two centuries, in the heart of Grande Champagne, renowned as the most prestigious terroir in the Cognac region. The Voyer family, deeply rooted in this area, has been dedicated to viticulture and distillation since the early 19th century.
The François Voyer vineyard spans approximately 28 hectares, exclusively planted with Ugni Blanc, a grape variety ideal for producing highly refined eaux-de-vie. Production methods remain faithful to artisanal traditions, including double distillation in copper stills and extended aging in oak barrels, resulting in cognacs of great aromatic richness.
Maxime Trijol Grande Champagne 1984 is a Cognac with a golden, orange color. Powerful, with fruity aromas of citrus fruits, plum jam and apricot underpinned by discreet oak and a delicate rancio. An eau-de-vie all in balance and harmony.
Maxime Trijol Petite Champagne 1991 is a Cognac with an orange, limpid robe. On the nose, a beautiful harmony of floral notes, cooked fruit, Morello cherry and spices mixed with a woodiness and rancio sufficiently melted to contribute to a balanced whole. Roundness and finesse emerge from this beautiful eau-de-vie.
