Maison Taittinger produces a vintage cuvée only when the harvest benefits from exceptional quality, just like the 1992 vintage. To this requirement are added several years of aging in the cellar, which guarantee the slow ripening of the aromas as well as the development of length and the complexity of the wine.
Maison Taittinger – An Icon of Champagne Elegance
Founded in 1734, Maison Taittinger is one of the great family-run Champagne houses, renowned for its refined style and dedication to tradition. Independent and forward-thinking, it upholds a legacy of exceptional craftsmanship, creating champagnes where elegance and finesse are at the heart of every cuvée.
Chardonnay, the house’s signature grape variety, plays a dominant role in its blends, bringing a delicate freshness, refined minerality, and aromatic precision to Taittinger champagnes. This distinctive style is exemplified in its flagship cuvée, Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs, an exceptional wine made exclusively from the finest Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte des Blancs.
With a 288-hectare vineyard, a significant portion of which is classified as Grand Cru, Taittinger ensures consistent quality and complete control over its production. Its deep commitment to exceptional terroirs and meticulous winemaking results in champagnes of remarkable purity, balancing complexity and harmony.
A true symbol of the French art of living, Maison Taittinger shines on the international stage through its dedication to excellence, innovative spirit, and respect for tradition. Whether celebrating a special occasion or elevating a tasting experience, Taittinger champagnes offer an unforgettable sensory journey.
