Founded in 1829 by Hennequin de Villermont, Paul Renaudin, and Jacques Bollinger, the house of Bollinger is one of the most prestigious Champagne producers. Grand Cellier D'Or 2019 is a Champagne of remarkable finesse and precision with a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir from 50 year old Premier Cru. The wines spend 10 months aging in 228L oak pieces to bring power and complexity.
Piper-Heidsieck Essentiel Blanc de Noirs combines Pinot Noir, the House's historic grape variety, with Pinot Meunier in a delicate blend. The diversity of the terroirs from which the 10 selected "crus" come, allows the complexity of the black grape varieties to be sublimated in a fruity and elegant Champagne.

The acidity of this great champagne has barely calmed down: under great freshness, it reveals delicately reduced notes of toast and mocha, then the wine opens up and evolves towards aromas of white truffle.
